All-on-4 Cost Guide
How Much Do All-on-4 Dental Implants Cost in 2026?
Last updated
All-on-4 dental implants usually cost $15,000 to $30,000 per arch in the US. Replacing both the upper and lower teeth usually runs $30,000 to $60,000. Acrylic teeth sit near the bottom of that range, and zirconia sits near the top.
All-on-4 replaces a full arch of missing or failing teeth with a fixed bridge held by four implants. It is the most popular full-arch option because it often avoids bone grafting and can give you new teeth the same day. Below is what drives the price, what a complete quote should include and how All-on-4 compares to the alternatives.

What All-on-4 Dental Implants Are
All-on-4 uses four implants to hold a full arch of teeth. The two front implants go in straight. The two back implants are tilted, which lets them reach into denser bone toward the front of the jaw. That angle is the reason many patients who were told they had too little bone for implants can still get All-on-4 without grafting.
In most cases, the remaining teeth are removed, the four implants are placed and a temporary set of fixed teeth is attached the same day. After about three to six months of healing, the final teeth are made and attached. The bridge is screwed in, so it does not come out at night like a denture.
What Is Included in an All-on-4 Price
A complete All-on-4 quote should include all of the following:
- Consultation, 3D CT scan and treatment planning
- Removal of remaining teeth
- Four implants and their abutments
- Sedation for surgery day
- A temporary fixed bridge placed the same day
- The final bridge, with the material named
- Follow-up and adjustment visits
Some offices advertise a low "starting at" price that covers only the surgery and temporary teeth, then bill the final bridge separately. Always confirm the price you are given is for the final teeth, not just the temporary set.
Acrylic vs Zirconia: The Biggest Price Factor
The material of your final bridge moves the price more than anything else. Zirconia usually adds about $5,000 to $8,000 per arch.
| Acrylic hybrid | Zirconia | |
|---|---|---|
| Typical cost per arch | $15,000 to $24,000 | $22,000 to $30,000+ |
| Strength | Can chip or crack | Very strong, rarely chips |
| Stains and wear | Stains and wears over time | Resists stains and wear |
| Typical lifespan of the teeth | 5 to 10 years | 15 years or more |
| Repairs | Easier and cheaper to repair | Harder to adjust, but needs fewer repairs |
Acrylic costs less now, but many patients replace it once or twice over the life of their implants. Zirconia costs more up front and often costs less over 20 years. Some offices also offer a middle option, such as a titanium bar with individual crowns.

What Else Changes the Cost of All-on-4
One arch or two
Treating both arches costs about double, though some practices discount the second arch when both are done together.
Bone condition
The tilted back implants usually avoid grafting. Patients with severe bone loss may need extra implants, longer zygomatic implants that anchor in the cheekbone or bone work first. Each of these can add several thousand dollars.
Number of implants
If your scan shows enough bone, your provider may recommend five or six implants for extra support. All-on-6 usually costs about 15 to 25 percent more than All-on-4.
Implant brand and lab quality
Premium implant brands and experienced labs cost more. They also tend to mean better-fitting, better-looking teeth and easier repairs down the road.
Sedation
Most full-arch surgeries are done under IV sedation or general anesthesia, which usually adds $500 to $1,500 if it is not already in the package.
Provider and location
Dedicated full-arch centers and specialists often charge more but do a high volume of these cases. Prices also vary by city, with coastal California near the top of the range.
All-on-4 vs Other Options
| Option | Typical cost per arch | Fixed or removable | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Traditional denture | $1,500 to $4,000 | Removable | Lowest cost, can slip, does not protect bone |
| Snap-in implant denture | $7,000 to $15,000 | Removable | Clips onto 2 to 4 implants, more stable than a denture |
| All-on-4 | $15,000 to $30,000 | Fixed | Most popular fixed option, often no grafting |
| All-on-6 | $20,000 to $35,000 | Fixed | More support, needs more bone |
| Individual implants for every tooth | $40,000+ | Fixed | Rarely needed or recommended for a full arch |
If a fixed set of teeth is the goal, All-on-4 is usually the best balance of cost, comfort and recovery time. A snap-in denture is a solid step up from a traditional denture if the budget is tighter.

How to Read an All-on-4 Quote
Ask these questions before you compare prices:
- Is this price for one arch or both?
- Does it include the final teeth, or only the temporary set?
- What material are the final teeth: acrylic, zirconia or something else?
- Which implant brand will you use?
- Are extractions, sedation and the CT scan included?
- How many follow-up visits are included, and is there a warranty?
Two quotes that look $10,000 apart are often much closer once you line up the material and what is included.
Paying for All-on-4
Dental insurance usually covers only a small part of All-on-4, often the extractions or part of the implants, up to an annual maximum of $1,500 to $2,500. Most full-arch practices offer monthly payment plans through patient financing companies, and HSA or FSA funds can be used. Ask about payment options at your consultation so you can plan around a monthly amount.

All-on-4 Cost FAQ
How much does All-on-4 cost per arch?
All-on-4 usually costs $15,000 to $30,000 per arch in the US. Acrylic teeth sit near the low end and zirconia near the high end.
How much do All-on-4 implants cost for a full mouth?
Treating both the upper and lower arch usually costs $30,000 to $60,000. Some practices discount the second arch when both are done together.
Why is zirconia more expensive than acrylic?
Zirconia is milled from a solid block of ceramic and takes more lab work. It is much stronger, resists stains and usually lasts far longer, so many patients pay less over time even though it costs more up front.
Is All-on-4 cheaper than getting individual implants?
Yes. Replacing every tooth in an arch with its own implant could cost $40,000 or more per arch. All-on-4 uses four implants to hold all the teeth, which brings the price way down.
Does All-on-4 require bone grafting?
Often not. The back implants are tilted to use the denser bone toward the front of the jaw, so many patients with bone loss can skip grafting.
Do I get teeth the same day with All-on-4?
In most cases, yes. A temporary fixed bridge is usually attached the day of surgery, and the final teeth are placed after three to six months of healing.
How long does All-on-4 last?
The implants can last for decades with good care. Acrylic teeth often need replacing in 5 to 10 years, while zirconia teeth commonly last 15 years or more.
Does insurance cover All-on-4?
Insurance usually covers only a small part, up to the annual maximum of $1,500 to $2,500. Many patients use monthly payment plans offered by the practice.
